Privacy policy
The operator, jaxungdo, provides the Jaxungdo veterinary materials management service and processes account information and materials supplied by users as follows.
1. Information processed and purposes
- Signup, login and account approval: name, email address, veterinarian verification information and account identifiers provided by login providers
- Service delivery: notes, documents, images, connections and settings created or imported by users
- Security and incident response: access/error logs and technical information necessary for service operation
2. Importing Google documents
We request the Google OAuth drive.file permission only when you select documents in Google Drive. We read the selected documents’ IDs, titles, file types, download availability and content through the Google Drive API. Images may also be read from the document export. This information is used for import previews and saving Jaxungdo notes you select.
Google access tokens are used while processing the import request and are not stored in the database or imported documents. Exported documents are delivered to the browser. When you start uploading, originals and analysis results are stored in private temporary server storage for preview and transfer. Content and images saved after you start a transfer are retained as your Jaxungdo materials. We do not read or synchronize Drive files you did not select in bulk.
3. Storage, sharing and protection
Account information and saved materials are processed using authentication and data storage infrastructure needed to operate the service. Access requires account and permission checks. Using the service subjects materials to the AI search, answer and indexing conditions below. The same processing conditions and access boundaries apply to materials imported from Google documents.
Google user data is used only to import selected documents and provide the service functions you request. Google Workspace API data is not used for advertising targeting, sale, or developing, improving or training general-purpose AI or machine-learning models.
4. AI search, answers and transmission of all materials
Extracted text and search properties from existing and future notes, PDFs and HTML files are sent to OpenAI for embeddings. Knowledge-network answers send questions, conversation context and excerpts from retrieved materials to OpenAI. These processing conditions cover all materials rather than requiring consent for each document, and support search, answer generation and evidence verification.
Using the service is treated as consent to these processing conditions. For existing and new users, we record the account, consent time, notice version and applied policy when entering the service. You can stop using the service and request withdrawal of transmission consent using the contact below. Withdrawal stops new transmissions and deletes derived search data while preserving original notes and conversations. Using the service again reapplies these conditions and records consent. Data already sent to a provider cannot be immediately retrieved.
Do not include identifying patient or owner information. Answers and citations require final verification by a veterinarian.
5. Retention, deletion and user choices
Accounts and saved materials are retained while necessary to provide the service. Temporary import originals and analysis files are cleaned up after completion or cancellation. Unstarted transfers have a seven-day retention period from their last activity and are cleaned up after expiry. Import history and document information may remain separately from temporary files. Users can delete their saved notes in the service and request deletion of accounts and related materials, or access and correction of personal information, using the email below. After verifying a request, we delete the information except where legal retention obligations apply or recovery backups temporarily retain it. Residual backup information is also deleted according to the operational retention cycle.
You can revoke Jaxungdo access in your Google account settings. Revocation does not automatically delete notes already saved in Jaxungdo.
6. Contact and changes
